Comprehensive cardiovascular evaluation consists of obtaining a detailed history of your current medical health as well as reviewing your past medical and surgical history, current medications, and family/social history. Assessment of your risk for developing heart disease and other cardiovascular health related issues is a vital part of the initial evaluation. Prior medical records are also studied in detail to provide appropriate continuity of care. A complete cardiovascular examination is then performed, focusing on cardiovascular health and prevention. A clinical plan is developed including recommendations for further diagnostic testing and treatment. We will discuss with you in detail regarding your cardiovascular health during subsequent visits.
